fibreculture events

Each year, members of the Fibreculture network gather to exchange ideas face to face. While the network is supported by the ephemeral space of the internet, it is sustained by these regular in the flesh get togethers. Members of Fibreculture have also initiated one off events, usually in collaboration with others.

BEAP 2004
BEAP Distributed-Difference: Cultures of Conflict - Fibreculture will be participating in this year's BEAP conference, Same Difference, to be held in Perth from the 7th of September until September 12th. Collaborative events

Australian Culture Now 2004 - Tuesday 8 June - Sunday 12 September 2004

Fibreculture is pleased to be participating in Australian Culture Now 2004, a major collaborative project between the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) and the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI). 2004 presents one of the most ambitious surveys of contemporary Australian art and culture in recent history. It has been conceived to explore the breadth and diversity of visual culture as it is being practised in Australia.
